Permission Requests
Materials in the SCI magazine and on the SCI website and other publishers' publications are subject to all applicable copyright, database protection, and other rights applicable in national and international law. Therefore for any article, whether distributed, displayed, printed or circulated as hardcopy or electronic; explicit and expressed permission must be applied for and obtained. This applies also to the formatted and presented/published versions of contributory authors and featured subjects as publication rights and copyright are reserved by publishers SoccerCoachingInternational and SportFacilitiesMedia. Upon request from authors and subject for such permissions, an abridged and edited PDF version can be tailored for appropriate use that would comply with copyright regulations.

Use of Third Party Material in SCI
SCI must ensure that the material we publish does not infringe the copyright of others. Therefore, we require that authors obtain the relevant permissions that are needed from the third parties and provide proof (upon submission) from those parties. Also, authors using third parties’ material are required to complete and submit the Permission Request Form for non-SCI Material. This needs to be agreed and formalised well in advance of submission and/or publication, so please allow sufficient timeframe for this.

Use of SCI Material in Non-SCI Publications
If you require permission to use material from an SCI publication you must complete and submit the Permission Request Form for SCI Material. Permission for another publisher to print an entire SCI article will be given due consideration and may be granted in special circumstances. Please plan to submit your request well ahead of publication of your material and allow at least seven working days for your request to be processed. Please note that SCI may be unable to supply artwork for the material you may wish to reproduce.
